A Carnivore Did It !

 It Was a Carnivore! promises a guilty meat-eater, but you'll have to figure it out on your own. Perhaps you're looking for two or even three perpetrators, or perhaps the crime was actually committed by a herbivore. 
 
In this cooperative game, you are given a number of suspects for each case, and each suspect is given a statement, such as "A carnivore did it" or "Shark is telling the truth". You have a notion of how honest everyone is, and you know how many offenders you're searching for. Maybe three or four of the suspects are telling the truth, or maybe only one is lying. Can you figure out who committed the crime using all of these information?
